Embark on a mesmerizing journey through Egypt with your personal tour guide Egyptologist Dr. Ehab Yousif and your American escort Deanne Panighetti. Together we will guide you through the heart of Egypt taking you from the bustling city of Cairo to the world-famous archaeological site of the Valley of the Kings. We will follow "The Father of Life" aboard a 4-night River Nile cruise where you will see the iconic vistas from Egypt's Nile River.

Deposit by November 30, 2025 - $500

January 15, 2026 - $1,500

February 15, 2026 - remaining balance

•If making international airline reservations (US to Cairo RT)  with Osiris Dream Vacations, payment is due at time of making plane reservations with the airlines.

•If paying with a credit card, there is a 3% surcharge on the total amount of the trip.

 

Trip Inclusions: transfers, hotel accommodations with breakfast, 4-night river cruise with meals, sightseeing per itinerary, private guide, American escort, admission fees, economy class air tickets within Cairo, all tips for hotel, cruise, drivers and private guide.

 

Trip Exclusions: international flights to and from Cairo, Egyptian VISA ($25), meals not included in itinerary (2 lunches and 2 dinners), alcoholic beverages and personal expenses.

 

Because Deanne and Ehab want to share the wonders of Egypt with others, they have worked with a variety of companies to create a comprehensive tour of great value without being cost prohibitive. They bundled as many experiences as possible and expenses into the trip cost.

•They know the "optional tours" everyone buys and built those into the tour cost.

•Eliminated the day to day worry about tipping in Egypt by including all tips for the hotels staff, cruise staff, drivers, and guide in the tour cost.

 

By taking away the day-to-day logistics of the trip, you can lose yourself in the sites and sounds of Egypt and create memories of lifetime.

Day 1 - March 13, 2026

Overnight flight to Cairo from US airport of your choice

Meals: Overnight flights from/to US usually serve meal shortly after take off and just prior to arrival. 

 

Day 2 - March 14, 2026

Arrive Cairo - airport assistance for Egypt VISA ($25 USD), money exchange, luggage pick up and transfer to hotel

Transfer to Cairo hotel via motorcoach

Leisure time to explore on your own or relax at the hotel

Welcome dinner

Meals included: Dinner 

Overnight: Cairo hotel​

 

Day 3 - March 15, 2026

Breakfast and early departure (7:00 a.m.) for sightseeing

Guided tours at Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx

Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) for a private tour

Lite lunch on your own at the GEM 

Learn about two of Egypt's famous products at a papyrus gallery and a cotton shop

Evening on own to enjoy Cairo or relax at hotel

Meals included: Breakfast

Overnight: Cairo hotel​

 

Day 4 - March 16, 2026

Early morning transfer to airport for 1-hour flight to Luxor

Hotel will provide a breakfast-to-go

Guided tour of Luxor’s East Bank – Karnak Temple and Luxor Temples

Embarkation and lunch on Nile River cruise boat

Afternoon lecture and discussion about Egyptian history and mythology on the sundeck

Evening on own to enjoy nightly entertainment and relax       

Meals included: Breakfast-to-go, lunch and dinner       

Overnight: On board boat

 

Day 5 - March 17, 2026

Breakfast on boat

Morning guided tours of Luxor’s West Bank – including Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Mortuary temple of Ramses III

Learn about another of Egypt's famous products at an alabaster factory

Return to boat for late lunch and afternoon sailing to Edfu

5 o’clock tea on board sundeck

Evening on own to enjoy nightly entertainment and relax       

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 6 - March 18, 2026

Very early departure for our guided tour of Abu Simbel

We will have breakfast-to-go

Lunch on board boat during sailing

Upon arrival to Kom Ombo guided tour of Kom Ombo Temple

Evening sailing to Aswan and enjoying nightly entertainment       

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner       

Overnight: on board boat​

 

Day 7 - March 19, 2026

Breakfast on boat

Morning departure for guided tours of Philae Temple Complex and Aswan High Dam

Learn about Egypt's rich history in oils and essences at an oil palace

Return to boat to relax and have lunch 

In the afternoon enjoy a sail on the Nile in a traditional felucca 

Evening relaxing on the River Nile and enjoying the nightly entertainment

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 8 - March 20, 2026

Early morning transfer to Aswan Airport for 1.5-hour flight to Cairo

Guided tour of Old Cairo including Salah El Din Citadel and Coptic Cairo

Visit Kan El-Khalili Bazaar for an Egyptian lunch and shopping 

Evening on own to prepare for flight home       

Meals Included: Breakfast-to-go       

Overnight: Cairo hotel

 

Day 9 - March 21, 2026

Transfers to airport for flights homeDepending upon departure time you will have breakfast-to-go or buffet breakfast

This fast-paced tour involves hotel changes, numerous daily activities, and varied transportation methods.

Expect:

  • One 2-night stay at beginning of tour in Cairo

  • 4-night stay on the Nile River cruise

  • One 1-night stay at end of tour in Cairo

  • Most days full of included activities with early morning starts

  • Most transportation by motor coach, some by flight

  • Be prepared to walk at total of 2 - 3 miles a day over varying terrain- including crowded city streets, stone and sandy paths, uneven stairs, and some hills - so wear sturdy walking shoes

  • Egyptian lunch is traditionally served in mid afternoon with dinner served approximately 8:00 p.m. (both later in day than American lunch and dinner)
