Discovery Coptic Cairo: A Journey to Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church

While I was planning Christmas details and working on our tours to Egypt today, I thought of the Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church in Coptic Cairo. This church is a hidden gem, steeped in history and spirituality. It was erected at the center of the remains of the Roman fortress of Babylon. Above a crypt, it is said to be the place where the Holy Family hid during their three-year journey from Bethlehem to Egypt.
